Greetings, Pure Poppers! Record Store Day is happening in less than a month– on Saturday, April 20, 2013. We’ve placed our orders for Record Store Day, and here are some of the items you can expect to see on the shelves on April 20. Please note that the exact products we will have in stock may deviate slightly from this list. You’re just seeing a list of what we have ordered, but the exact quantities that do (or don’t) get shipped to us are determined by the almighty Record Store Day Gods.
So grab a cup of coffee, pretend you’re actually doing something at work, position yourself strategically so your boss can’t see your computer screen…and enjoy.
Read this before reading this list: This list is not alphabetical. We’ve listed items based on how many we ordered, in descending order. In other words, we ordered way more copies of Phish’s Lawn Boy than the Rob Zombie 7″. Not that we don’t love Rob Zombie, but we’re trying to predict what y’all will want– and we know lots of you love Phish.

Also, not all details of RSD items are listed in the brief description below. A product may be in gatefold packaging/on colored vinyl/on 180-gram vinyl/have a download code– even if the description here doesn’t say so. We’re just distilling the information given us to by our distributors to give you a complete list that isn’t too wordy. If you are looking for more details, we suggest you use the almighty internets– the Record Store Day website is an excellent place to start.
Finally, if something isn’t listed here, we probably aren’t going to have it on RSD. We are carrying the vast majority of what’s available, but not everything. When in doubt, ask.

Phish, Lawn Boy LP: The latest Phish vinyl to be reissued. We’ve ordered a ton of these, since we know you guys will want them, but we won’t know just how many we’ll be getting until the week before Record Store Day.
Trey Anastasio, Trey Anastasio 7″: Picture disc of previously unreleased tracks. Could be a nice companion for your Lawn Boy LP, eh?
Page McConnell, Unsung Cities And Movies Never Made LP: A ten-track instrumental LP from another Phish member. This RSD exclusive release will be pressed on red vinyl.
Tame Impala, Tame Impala EP 12″: A reissue of Tame Impala’s pre-Innerspeaker EP on colored 12″ vinyl.
The Band, The Last Waltz 3 x LP: The classic album by The Band repressed on three 180-gram LPs. This is the first reissue of The Last Waltz on vinyl, and will be available in limited quantities.
Sigur Ros, Agaetis Byrjun 2 x LP: Vinyl re-issue of the band’s sophomore album, which has been out of print for years.
Porno for Pyros, Porno for Pyros LP: Reissue of the debut Porno for Pyros album on swirly colored vinyl.
Pretty and Nice, Q_Q 7″: A 7″ single of new music from these former Burlingtonians. Their full album hits shelves on April 30.
The Flaming Lips, Zaireeka 4 x LP box set: A remastered version of the 1997 album on 4 colored vinyl LPs. Comes in a box set with a book. IF you buy this, make sure to recruit three of your friends with record players so you can listen to all four albums as they are supposed to be heard– simultaneously. (Well, you can listen to them one at a time, too…it’s just not as cool, right?)
